Knit Mittens with the Stitching Coach In-Person
Learn to knit a sporty pair of mittens to wave away the winter chill. Patrons should be comfortable casting on, knitting-in-the-round, purling and binding off. In class you will conquer knitting stripes and creating thumb gussets with the help of Bristol instructor, Dawn Zillich - The Stitching Coach.
Materials needed for this program:
- Three colors of DK yarn at least 225 yards each
- Size US 6 40-inch circular needles
- Bent tip darning needle
- Scissors,
- Stitch holders
- Stich markers
Pattern utilized will be “Sporty Stripes” from “The Mitten Handbook” by Mary Scott Huff available on Hoopla. It is recommended that patrons downloard the book before class.
