CANCELLED “Let’s Move!” Friends' Fundraiser Dance Class with Maria Cherniske In-Person

This dynamic one hour class will start with a warm up that includes basic grooves, dance steps, and movements that encourage mobility (stretching). Maria will teach a few "line" dances to help participants get the hang of remembering step sequences and putting them to music. During the final portion of the class, participants will learn a short piece of fun choreography to bring together what was taught throughout. Come ready to sweat and smile! This class is for adults ages 18 and up.

*Please wear comfortable, supportive sneakers.

As with all Friends fundraising, all proceeds go directly to the library. 

 

Maria Cherniske is a professional dancer, choreographer and seasoned educator. She has been teaching dance for twenty-four years to students of all ages. She is also a coach for competitive level gymnastics and a former coach of the Trumbull High School Gymnastics team.
