Read With Wilson (15 Minute Session) In-Person
Practice reading aloud with our furry friend, Wilson!
Wilson is a licensed therapy dog here for children to practice reading aloud to in 15 minute sessions. Studies show that children who are learning to read or struggling with reading can feel more comfortable practicing by reading aloud to a dog. In order to keep a calm environment, we are strictly enforcing one family at a time in the room with Wilson. Miss Katie and Wilson's handler will be in the room at all times for safety.
**It is very important that you are on time to your session with Wilson as it is timed in order to ensure he can read with as many children as possible.**
Please only register your child and register for one slot, unless registering for the waitlist. There is only one spot available for each 15 minute session. If a child is signed up for two spots, their second session WILL be canceled to give as many different children the opportunity to read with Wilson as possible.
