A Slice of History: Connecticut’s Pizza Legacy with Author Colin M. Caplan In-Person
Join Connecticut’s Pizza Guru, Colin M. Caplan, for a fascinating journey through the rich history of local pizza on Tuesday, May 27th, from 6–7 PM. Caplan will explore the roots of Italian immigration, the rise of legendary pizza families, and the unique styles of pizza that have shaped the state’s culinary identity, with a special focus on Bridgeport. As an expert on the subject and author of Pizza in New Haven, he will share stories and insights that highlight Connecticut’s deep pizza heritage. The program will conclude with a Q&A session, followed by a book sale and signing of Pizza in New Haven. Whether you're a lifelong pizza lover or simply curious about the history behind your favorite slice, this event is not to be missed!
