Classics Book Club In-Person

Coming This Fall: Classics Book Club at Trumbull Library
Ever wanted to revisit a classic you read in school—or finally tackle one you've always meant to read? Join us for the new Classics Book Club, meeting Saturday mornings this fall at 10am in the Kiwanis Room. Meetings to be held: September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 13.

November's selection is The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.

Betrayed by those he trusted, young Edmond Dantès is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. After years in a dark fortress, he escapes with a secret fortune and a plan for vengeance. Disguised as the mysterious Count of Monte Cristo, he reenters society to punish his enemies and reward those who remained loyal. Packed with intrigue, justice, and high drama, this sweeping classic is a thrilling tale of revenge and redemption.

A limited number of copies just for our book club will be set aside behind the circulation desk, starting October 18th. Stop in after October 18th and ask for a copy! This book is also available as a free pdf online, an ebook and eaudiobook through the Libby app, as well as Audiobook CD and regular text in the general collection at the Trumbull Library.
