The Power of Story (Week 4) In-Person
Stories connect us, move us, and help us make sense of the world—whether they’re true, imagined, or somewhere in between.
This four-week creative writing class is open to adults of all experience levels (ages 21 and up) and designed to help you unlock, shape, and share the stories only you can tell. Whether you’re interested in writing memoir or fiction, each session builds on the last, offering structure, inspiration, and space to explore.
Through engaging prompts, discussion, and short take-home writing exercises, you’ll learn how to:
• Identify the emotional heart of your story
• Shape scenes with strong beginnings, middles, and ends
• Build tension and character
• Use revision as a tool for discovery
Come ready to write, reflect, and share—this is a warm, welcoming space for anyone curious about storytelling and looking to get words on the page.
