Girls Who Code Club (grades 3-5)

Girls Who Code Club (grades 3-5) Online

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. There are over 8,500 GWC programs worldwide.

Girls Who Code Clubs are spaces where girls can join our sisterhood of supportive peers and use Computer Science to change the world. Our 3rd-5th Grade Clubs help build the foundational skills and understanding of computer science concepts and sisterhood through a reading discussion and coding activities. In order to build the skills you need to make an impact, you will learn how to code from our fun online tutorials and activities that will help you build fun projects to share with friends and family.

No prior coding knowledge or experience is needed! This club will meet on Zoom on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 PM. There will be ten classes beginning September 16 and ending December 16. There's no class on 9/30, 10/21, 11/11, or 11/25.

Using a laptop or desktop computer (rather than a tablet or phone) is required for this club.

Interested? Register here, and Miss Elise will email you with step-by-step instructions on how to register on our club's Girls Who Code HQ website. Register once for all ten classes.
