Knit Toy with the Stitching Coach In-Person
Learn to knit an adorable Jackalope and a new technique for knitting legs two-at-a-time. Once you learn to make your mythical plush pal, patrons will be ready to cast on socks, mittens and sleeves two-at-a-time. Participants should know how to cast on, bind off and knit. In class you will conquer decreases and increases with the help of Bristol instructor, Dawn Zillich - The Stitching Coach. Adventurous beginners to knitting experts will find this class fun.
Materials needed for this project:
- Two colors of worsted weight yarn (brown and yellow)
- US5 circular or double pointed needles
- Bent tip darning needles
- Scissors
- Fiber-fil doll stuffing
- Stitch markers
Program will use the Jackalope pattern from “50 Yards of Fun” by Rebecca Danger.
