Please join us for a virtual lecture on "Protecting Your Privacy on the Internet" via Zoom. The presenter is Prof. Dr. Igor Khokhlov. In this lecture Prof. Khokhlov will talk about how users can protect their privacy on the Internet. He will cover how to avoid suspicious websites, how to protect yourself while connected to public wi-fi, what threats are there, and how to avoid them. Learn how to protect your computer as well as your mobile devices. Phishing attacks will be covered as well, and how you can protect yourselves from those attacks.

Igor Khokhlov is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He received his Ph.D. in Computing and Information Sciences in 2020. Before joining Sacred Heart University, Dr. Khokhlov worked on a project sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His current research focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications for cybersecurity, vulnerabilities in AI/ML algorithms, and securing mobile devices, such as smartphones. Before starting his academic career, Dr. Khokhlov was employed as a software developer and project leader in the software development industry.
